What can Whitfield Chiropractic do to help?

If you are suffering form any of the following Dr. Whitfield can help:
  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Herniated disk
  • Headaches/migraines
  • Arthritis
  • Carpal tunnel

Whitfield Chiropractic Clinic of Tallahassee has over 40 years of experience successfully treating all of the conditions above and more. In most back pain and neck pain cases the root of the pain can be traced to a herniated disk or poor posture. A herniated disk occurs when the soft barrier between vertebraes is pushed outside the vertebrae. This condition causes not only back pain at the vertebrae, but can lead to other conditions like a pinched nerve. A pinched nerve is when things start to get tricky, since the nerve being pinched can cause pain anywhere in the body such as headaches or numbness in limbs, those suffering might not know the root of the problem is located in their spine. Through spinal adjustments, Dr. Whitfield is able to correct these vertebrae using the body’s own natural healing ability. Avoiding invasive surgery and expensive, often times addictive prescriptions (which, I might add, don’t seek to solve the problem, just mask the symptoms).

Poor posture is the next leading cause of back pain and neck pain. With the rise of the office job fueling long hours hunched over a desk, those with poor posture are setting them selves up for disaster and they most likely don’t even know it. Those with desk jobs that involve a lot of typing or a computer (most of them) are at a higher risk of arthritis or carpel tunnel.

What we can do to treat these conditions:

  • Spinal adjustments
  • Posture counseling: everything from how you rest your wrists when you type to the proper height to for you to sit to maintain good posture.
  • Whole Body Cryotherapy: we are actually the first business in Florida to offer cryotherapy and still the only place in Tallahassee offering its amazing benefits. It has been used since the 70’s in Japan and Europe to help with arthritis and carpel tunnel. For more information about it please visit the cryotherapy section of our site here.
